保育料無償化の認定手続き
When using a kindergarten, certified child day care center (educational part), or unlicensed child day care facility, you are eligible for free child day care service fees if you complete the ‘Application form for Approval of Usage Benefits for Childcare Facilities, etc.’ (Shisetsu tou Riyou Kyufu Nintei Shinsei Tetsuduki) in advance.
Please note, however, that the procedures and the maximum amount of the free-of-charge benefit may differ, depending on the facility and the necessity of the Childcare.

￭Eligible applicants for 2023
(1) Childcare fees for kindergartens and certified child daycare centers (educational part)
Infants born between April 2nd, 2017 to April 1st,2022
(2)Daycare fees for kindergartens and certified child daycare centers
a. Infants in need of childcare
Those born between April 2nd,2017 to April 1st,2020
b. Infants in need of childcare from households exempt from paying the residence tax
Those born between April 2nd,2017 to April 1st,2020
(3)Childcare fees for unlicensed childcare facilities
a. Infants in need of childcare.
Those born between April 2nd,2017 to April 1st,2020
b. Infants whose households are exempt from paying the municipal tax and who are in need of a childcare.
Those born on or after April 2nd,2020
￭ Where to apply
For applicants(1)and (2), please submit the application at kindergatens and certified child day care centers, etc.
For applicants (3), please submit it to Nursery and Kindergarten Section.
￭Submission deadline
For applicants(1)and (2): By the date designated by each kindergarten, certified child day care center
For applicants (3): By the end of the month prior to the desired date of certification
