【Kindergarten – Youchien 】
Children living with their parents in Suita City can apply for kindergartens and other facilities.
Conditions such as employment of the parents or guardians are not required.
・Available for children aged : 3 , 4 , 5 years old as of April 1st 2023 ( Required age may differ depending on the facility.)
・Available days: Weekdays, from Monday to Friday（It may differ depending on the facility.）
・Available time: It may differ depending on the facility.
・Fee: Free (There are facilities that charges partially the tuition)
Actual costs for school lunches, material expenses, instructional material fees, etc. are charged.
For enrollment in private kindergartens, please apply directly at the kindergarten.
For enrollment in public kindergartens, please apply using the electronic application system on the city’s website during October 1st to October 4th.
If the capacity of applicants exceeds, then it may not be available.
The announcements regarding the availability of kindergartens will be posted on the Suita City website and also at each kindergarten after 4 p.m. of October 7th. An admission letter will be sent by mail.
【Nursery School- Hoikuen】
A parent or a guardian who needs childcare due to work, illness, pregnancy, childbirth, etc. can apply for a nursery school.
・Available for children aged: from 0 to 5 years old as of April 1st 2023（The required age may differ depending on the facility）
・Available days: Weekdays, from Monday to Friday（There are nursery schools and other facilities that open on Saturdays）
・Available time: It will be set according to the parents conditions.
・Fee: It will be set according to the child’s age as well as the household’s income.
The application form can be downloaded from the Suita City website or found at the nursery and kindergarten room of the Suita City Hall. (Available only in Japanese)
If you would like your child to enter the facility from April 2023 (Reiwa 5), please submit the application through mail by October 14th of 2022(Reiwa 4)
If the capacity of the applicants exceeds, then it may not be available. Whether your child will be admitted or not, a notification will be sent by mail around the middle January of 2023.
