国民年金の加入について
All residents of Japan between the ages of 20 and 60 are required to join the National Pension Plan. Those who have not yet enrolled should complete the enrollment procedures.
If you are unable to pay the National Pension Insurance premiums for financial reasons, there is a system of exemption or deferment of premium payment. An income screening of the applicant, spouse, and head of household is required.
For students with no income, there is also the “Special Student Payment Exemption System,” which allows students to defer payment of National Pension Insurance premiums while they are still in school.
