児童手当制度の変更について
The eligibility and payment amount of the child allowance will change from October 2024.
■Modified Subjects
・Extension of eligibility to high school students
・Elimination of income limit
・Increased the amount of allowance to 30,000 yen for the third and subsequent children.
・Number of payments changed from 3 times a year to 6 times a year
■Procedures Due to System Changes
① Notification of the child allowance will be sent to you by mail by the end of September.
② Once you receive the notice, please complete the process until October 15, 2024.
※ If you do not receive the notice by the end of September, please contact the Childcare Allowance Division.
